In a continuing series, here’s a blog offered by one of our younger readers …

Physical health and mental health go hand-in-hand. I decided at the beginning of the pandemic that I would focus on keeping fit to help me stay strong in body and mind.

As we all know, exercising can help us with better sleep, staying motivated at work and finding more positivity towards everything in your life, especially since many of us are STILL feeling isolated with COVID-19!

Here are some of my favourite  apps and websites that I’ve found incredibly helpful to help me keep moving and maintaining my health.

  1. Krissy Cela – follow her on Instagram for quick websites

Tone and Sculpt app, I’ve been using this app since the beginning and love it!

  • Peloton- download their app and look-up “workouts” on their YouTube channel

  • TRX- I highly recommend purchasing these strength and conditioning straps and then download their app (3 months free when you sign up)

  • Lulu Lemon– download their app, look up their channel on YouTube. It has a wide variety of workouts for all yogis, especially a good stretch after sitting at your desk all day.

  • Liv Mcilkenny– she’s a spinning instructor but since COVID she’s been doing short 5-10 min workout classes
  • Jules Hough– FitOnapp & KRINGY app- this is a new free flowing app that gets your body moving and helps you to just let loose
