I’d like to introduce you to one of our younger readers who has shared these thoughts
“Clarity is better than certainty. “
D. Lena Hickmann-Miott
I woke up this morning, its gloomy, cold, depressing and it just makes me want to roll over and forget the day – again. Some people are calling it Ground Hog day. Some call it Quarantine. And some call all of this Bull S**t.
It seems as though we wake up, look outside, realize you can’t go anywhere and don’t know what to do next. Are you fortunate to be able to work from home? My friends that are working from home have never worked so hard. I work in the service industry and that is not available to me right now or for the foreseeable future.
There are so many uncertainties in this new COVID-19 world and we have been asked to sit tight and just stay home. This is not hard compared to our grandparents and great grandparents lives. They endured the Great Depression, wars and things I just can’t comprehend or understand how they coped. So why is it so hard for us to just stay home and be patient?
Basically, what I’m asking is What is keeping you sane? Who do you turn to when you just need to vent and say “ this sucks!”
Are you still feeling inspired? Are you a morning person like me who loves to work out and still have that motivation? Or do you just pull the covers over your head because you feel you do not have a purpose?
